Poetica Projects is a literary community and online journal dedicated to publishing high-quality content and keeping its followers up-to-date on various social media platforms.

Amirhossein Khorshidfar, a writer, literary critic, and journalist, launched the project with the collaboration of Bahar Ahmadifard, a literary interpreter and contemporary art researcher. Soon after the launch in 2019, Khalil Dermanaki, a literary critic, and Mohsen Maleki, a literary critic and interpreter, joined the team, followed by Sepideh Emami as a collaborator. A few months later, Amirali Ghasemi, a curator, media artist, and graphic designer, joined as the art director.

Poetica Projects is interested in publishing the works of established and up-and-coming writers, critics, and literary interpreters. In February 2020, they announced an open call for submissions of unpublished Persian fiction. They received an impressive number of entries from both inside and outside of Iran. A jury comprising Dorota Słapa, a Polish poet and literary interpreter, Azadeh Akhlaqi, a visual artist and filmmaker, and Mino Farshchi, a screenwriter, selected 18 stories to be published on the Poetica Projects website and its Telegram channel.

In addition to publishing works by independent writers, Poetica E-book aims to connect diaspora literary figures (such as Amir Ahmadi Arian, Pegah Ahmadi, Razie Ansari, and Nafiseh Mousavi) with their readers in their homeland. The community pays special attention to the Global South discourse and, notably, the Middle Eastern literature. They have also published articles and interviews with Arab authors and poets, including Adonis, Hamid Al-Uqabi, Elias Khoury, and Abdulrahman Munif, on their website.
